Career Center
The PABPA Career Center is updated daily with career opportunities submitted by members, affiliates and other partners. For job seekers, these postings provide warm leads from other PABPA members and affiliates providing candidates with strong consideration for qualified opportunities.

For non-job seekers, the Career Center also provides an opportunity to personally benefit as many companies offer bonuses and other incentives to employees for referring qualified candidates. These bonuses can often amount to several thousand dollars. As a result, PABPA encourages all members to submit new job opportunities and to actively screen resume postings for qualified candidates.

PABPA also launched the Resume Exchange Program (REP) program earlier this year to assist job seekers to submit their resumes to PABPA for circulation through PABPA’s network of human resources professionals, placement professionals, recruiters, etc. to assist PABPA members in marketing themselves.


Publishing Opportunities, Referrals and Communications
The PABPA newsletter and website provide opportunities for members to share useful information from their industries with others. Writing informational articles to a diverse audience such as PABPA’s membership provides an opportunity to connect with others seeking your products or services. PABPA publishes a quarterly newsletter sent to current and prospective members, affiliates, and other partners. Reprints are also available to send to clients to provide additional exposure opportunities for yourself. The PABPA website is also updated on a rolling basis throughout the year providing additional exposure opportunities for members. By having your articles published on the PABPA site, it will also provide you with search engine exposure that can help you gain ever more exposure or credibility.

Receive a promotion? Start a new job? Launch a new product or service? Let people know about it! PABPA publishes professional announcements through all of its media providing additional opportunities to help members to gain greater visbility.

Have a quick question? Looking for a supplier or service provide? The PABPA message boards are actively monitored and utilized as a way to have a public dialogue on various topics of concern to members. PABPA is often contacted for referrals and other information. PABPA. Keep your PABPA member profile up to date and note any areas of expertise or special skills so that requests can be properly routed.


Recognition Opportunities
PABPA is a great opportunity to submit professional announcements such as job changes, promotions, awards, accomplishments, etc. that could be included on the PABPA website, the newsletter, and other outlets. PABPA also monitors professional announcements from a variety of other sources to share news about achievements by Polish-Americans. Every month, PABPA will be profiling various members and notable Polish-Americans providing additional opportunities for recognition.

Beginning in 2009, PABPA will be sponsoring various award programs to further recognize members’ achievements.


Networking Events
PABPA events are a great way to gain one-on-one opportunities to interact with colleagues, find prospective clients, meet prospective employers, share information and expand the overall interaction of Polish-American professionals. Networking opportunities are at the heart of PABPA’s mission to enhance the financial, professional and social status of Polish-Americans.

Marketplace
As an added value, PABPA’s Marketplace provides discounts, savings programs, and other useful services for our members. The Marketplace is constantly being updated with special offers and new products and services. Members can contact the PABPA office to develop special cross-promotional programs with PABPA.

These services will remain open through the end of 2009 when many of the features on the PABPA website will be converted to a members-only site.
